All Area Moving was fantastic!!! They were nice, on time, and hard working. I had heard they had changed ownership so I asked about it. I was informed that indeed they have. If you talk to Jerry, the new owner, then you will not be dissapointed!! I'm not sure how it was ran before, but the new owner does great!!!

I have used this company twice, recommended them once, and will use them again (most likely in the near future). On time, efficient, and inexpensive. These guys charge by the hour but move quickly. Excellent service, great price. It's too bad that only people with negative experiences take the time to write something.

These guys showed up an hour late the morning of our move and did not apologize or even acknowledge that they were late. One of the WT mover guys came right to me and asked if I had any painkillers because his feet were "killing him" after a move the previous day. Umm...okay...first, that is bizarre and unprofessional, IMO. But also did not instill confidence that this team was "on" that day. They started picking up boxes to take out the truck before we had a chance to review the estimate or sign a contract. Liability? Agreement on terms? When I asked them to wait so we could go over things, they seemed annoyed. Again...unprofessional. I will say, they worked hard and did the heavy lifting, which is what we were paying for. But the customer service and professionalism was not there. At the end of the shift, they showed me a tear in our sofa that occurred when they tried to push it (unwrapped) through the front door. They told me they would contact their insurance company and have somebody out the following week to repair it. This was 4 1/2 months ago. Over these months, I have called the main number, other #s that Google brings up, and the owner's (JOE) cell phone. I have been extremely polite and flexible in my efforts to have our tear repaired. Probably too polite and flexible. Joe claimed many times that his insurance company wasn't returning his calls. So I offered to get my own estimates and let him know, and he said that would help, and he would pay whomever we chose. Okay. I rec'd quotes and have an upholstery company on deck to complete the repair. All JOE needs to do is call them with his CC info. so they can get paid. Joe has told me multiple times that he would call them "right now" and would get it taken care of. The upholstery co. has yet to hear from him. Aside from "absolute"ly not managing his business well, Joe has never expressed any regret for the tear or for the delay or for wasting my valuable time. If you are researching a move and think you have found a good price with these guys -- MOVE ON. Find somebody else with a good reputation.

I believe this company is now out of business or under another name. We used them June 2009. We spent over $1000. They damaged a lot of our furniture. I was able to overlook a lot of the small knicks, even the chunk they took out of my headboard that the movers seemingly didn't notice happened. (not sure how they couldn't notice a chunk out of a black headboard?) However... they gouged one of our stainless steel handles on our refrigerator and scraped the whole front on our front loader washing machine. These two items I asked to be replaced. Joe the main owner said he would get those replaced. I emailed him all the necessary info and I've been waiting months. On Aug 28th he said he would get back to me with ETA's. I have not heard from him since and I've emailed and left messages. Today is Dec. 16th and I found out that the phone numbers to All Area Moving have been sold to another moving company. Small claims court here I come!! BTW... the guys that do move you are WT all the way. Every other word is a curse word and they leave all their drinks and butts behind. No wonder they are out of business or changing names!! I was forced to give one star. They deserve zero!

First off I acted in a most professiona manor until i was physically pushed and screamed at. I went to the customers house to look at the "damage". It was obvious the scratches on the top of the dresser were from years of wear and tear. They said our blankets scratched them. I offered to give them a demonstration on how our blankets could not have done the type of scratches that were present. The table leg was broken by our crew which I offered to have professionally repaired and they declined. Funny as they "tipped" our guys and called me to say how efficient they worked. We are a licensed/insured company with 20+ years experience. We use professional equipment, experienced guys and strive to satify every customer. Don't use this company

This company damaged our furniture and claim to have not done the damage. After going round and round with the owner, he told us that he would submit a claim to his insurance provider. After waiting to hear back from him and never getting a call, we finally contacted him (and waited another week for him to return the call). He claims that the insurance company rejected the claim on 2 pieces of furniture and the he was just going to bolt back together another piece (a table with a leg that was broken by his men). When we asked for a copy of the rejected claim he got upset (bc he clearly never submitted it) and hung up on my husband. The owner of the company is very unprofessional, rude and abrasive. If you hire this company, know that they will do damage to your property and you will have to sue them to get the property replaced.

Drug users and losers

These guys will steal your prescription drugs & wash em down the hatch with your beer. They all look they just got out of prison or in a gang. (very scary) You might save a few bucks but not worth the horrible experience.

A nightmare

We asked for boxes and no smokers. They didn't bring the boxes so we had to run to Staples and pay top dollar for them. And I am still picking up cigarette butts as they tossed them wherever they liked. The entire time they complained about having to work. Horrendous experience.
