  “SCAM ARTISTS! I was quoted $280 for four hours. They asked us to sign the contract when they arrived at our house stating $280. During the move, they filled in the contract (that we already signed) with BS charges. Once they got to the drop off location, they presented us with a $1,400 bill. They wouldn't release our belonging until the bill was paid. We didn't have a choice but to pay because we wanted our belongings. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!”

  “The absolute worst moving experience of my Life, easily. How does this company stay in business!!!! Two very, very weak movers arrived hours and I mean hours late, took nine hours to move a small studio apartment into my condominium which was less than a 2 miles away!!!!
  When the moved was booked they claimed there would be no charge for travel time, however once the truck was loaded and driven to it’s destination the movers would not unload until paid in full by estimating how long it would take to unload PLUS TRAVEL TIME back to their shop. Once the estimated time was up they left they majority of the boxes on my lawn and drove away. I moved more of load into my condominium then the ACTUAL movers.
  In addition, on top of the per hour cost, and the hidden travel time cost, there was an additional HIDDEN FEE of $125.00 per flight of stairs!!! Stay clear of this horrible company.”

  I just had a move done by AAA Movers Inc. I was moving a two bedroom apartment - I found the company online. When I called, I spoke to Lana, I was given a quote which said 3 men at $70 an hour for 6 hours. And that all packing materials are additional and the movers will not move the belongings unless they are properly packed. I didn't care about packing since the rate was so low. There were other companies that were telling me that I should be careful because they were going to scam me and charge me 100% more. I also didn't care what they told me since I had a budget to stick to. On the day of the move three guys showed up on a truck, the foremans name was Justin. We went over the contracts and there were some things that needed to be packed he told me. Like my mirror which I thought I could get away with, my TV which I do understand why and some other glass pieces. I got worried right away and thought that I am going to get scammed just like I was told. When I called the office about these charges for packing materials and spoke to Lana to see if there is anything that could be done and WOW was she helpful. She told me don't worry just go to a store and get some boxes while the guys are moving the big pieces so they can use those boxes to pack some of my things. That's what I did since their boxes were like $10 each. I went to Shop Rite that was by my house and got a bunch of FREE boxes, and brought them to the guys. At the end my final bill was $470. Which was $50 over my estimate but better than the estimates that I got from other companies which were around $1000. I was happy with my move - the staff was very helpful and the foreman was a great guy. Would definitely use them again. Next time I will try to get the boxes ahead of time.”
