  “WARNING, WARNING, WARNING - if you are looking to use this company to store or move your furniture or if you are ordering from a company that uses their services buyer beware!!!! Briefly...ordered furniture 7 months ago; that is right you read right 7 months ago and I am supposed to finally get my damaged chair replaced tomorrow. We will see?? You see when Ellis delivered my furniture the first time they didn't set it up properly which led to damages within a few weeks. They wanted the damaged chair which I finally allowed them to pick up and to my disgust they called me weeks later saying my replacement was in and guess what....yes they tried to give me the damaged chair back. I drove out one time to pick the chair up because I was fed up with their attitude about working with me on delivery times/dates. Well mysteriously the chair wasn't there and no apology or explanation about how they could call me to say it was there and to set up the delivery and for it to disappear. There is much more that I just don't have time to get into and you have probably read enough to realize this is a terrible company to do business with, but the last thing that I might add is when I filed a complaint against them with the BBB the response they had was that it was Overstock.com responsibility to make sure that I get my furniture and if I expected a special delivery (since they only come to Smyrna once a week) that Overstock.com would have to pay Ellis special delivery fees for them to go out of their way!!!!???? Unbelievable - so they could damage your stuff and get paid extra for damaging it. I usually don't mess with this type of thing but felt that I owed to potential victims to run don't walk away from this company.”
